This month we went back in time to 1348 when the Black Death wiped out half of London’s population. Walking around the City of London with our tour guides, Jonathan & Marianne, who together run Tales of Plague, it gave an insight to what London was like and how we have improved living conditions in the city so as to prevent further outbreaks of disease.
Here’s Jonathan dressed up for the part, giving us an idea of what this scene would have looked like in the 1300 and 1600’s!
