Our project Rushmore Road in partnership with ZCD Architects was commended and won the People’s Choice Award in the Hackney Design Awards, 2018. The design was described as ‘imaginative”, and the judges applauded the use of sequential spaces from the “compact ground floor”, which created the open-plan and light spaces. Furthermore, the “nettings in place of the guardrails” were also pinpointed as an exemplary feature, being “particularly appropriate in this innovative and fun architectural design”.
